Engineered for T1, T2 & T3 Performance
Focus on Vibration Control:
“Sirona turbines, especially the premium T1 Class, are renowned for their quiet operation. To maintain this standard, our replacement bearings are manufactured with Grade 3 Silicon Nitride (Si3N4) balls. These ceramic components reduce centrifugal mass by 60%, minimizing vibration and ensuring your handpiece remains whisper-quiet, just like the day you bought it.”
Focus on Retainers & Heat:
“Our bearings feature advanced Phenolic or Torlon retainers designed to withstand the rigorous DAC Universal sterilization processes often used with Sirona instruments. The optimized cage design ensures consistent lubricant distribution, preventing overheating in the T2 and T3 series even during prolonged clinical procedures.”
Not sure which bearing fits your Sirona handpiece?
Don’t guess. Send us a photo of your turbine or the old bearing. Our technicians will identify the correct ISO part number for you within 1 hour.
FAQ for Sirona
Can I replace just the bearings in a Sirona T3 Racer, or do I need a new turbine?
While Sirona sells complete turbine cartridges, replacing just the bearings is a much more cost-effective solution for repair shops. Our SR144TLK Ceramic Kit is fully compatible with the T3 Racer spindle. However, ensure your chuck mechanism is still providing sufficient bur retention force before replacing only the bearings.
What is the difference between bearings for T3 Racer and T3 Mini?
Size matters. The T3 Racer typically uses a standard width bearing (2.78mm), while the T3 Mini often uses a narrower bearing (2.38mm) due to the smaller head size. Please verify your old bearing’s dimensions or refer to our Cross-Reference Table above to ensure you order the correct kit.
Are these bearings compatible with older Siemens handpieces?
Yes. Sirona was formerly the dental division of Siemens. We stock replacement bearings for legacy Siemens models like the 4000 series. If you are unsure about compatibility, send us a photo of the handpiece, and we will match the correct ISO part number.
How often should Sirona bearings be lubricated?
To maximize the lifespan of our ceramic replacement bearings, we recommend lubricating before every sterilization cycle, ideally using a fully synthetic oil spray. This is critical for T1 and T2 models to prevent the phenolic cages from drying out during the autoclave process.
