Upgrade Your Legacy Siemens Handpieces

  • Focus on Ceramic Upgrade:

“Original Siemens turbines were built to last, but their steel bearings wear out over decades of use. Our replacement kits feature modern Silicon Nitride (Si3N4) ceramic balls. These are lighter and harder than the original steel balls, reducing friction and heat. This upgrade breathes new life into your 4000 Series, allowing it to run smoother and quieter than when it was new.”

  • Focus on Compatibility:

“Whether you have a vintage Siemens 4000 or an early Sirona T1, the internal bearing specifications often remain the industry standard SR144. Our high-precision bearings with Phenolic retainers are drop-in replacements, ensuring perfect fit and function for these German engineering classics.”

Not sure which bearing fits your Siemens handpiece?

Don’t guess. Send us a photo of your turbine or the old bearing. Our technicians will identify the correct ISO part number for you within 1 hour.

FAQ for Siemens

My Siemens 4000 turbine is very old. Can I still find bearings for it?

Yes! The Siemens 4000 series is one of the most durable handpieces ever made. It uses standard SR144 size bearings (3.175mm x 6.35mm x 2.78mm). Our Ceramic Replacement Kit is fully compatible and will likely improve its performance over the original steel bearings.

In most cases, yes. Sirona was the dental division of Siemens before becoming independent. Early Sirona models (T1, T2, T3) share the same bearing DNA as the late Siemens models. Our cross-reference table covers both brands to ensure you get the right part.

Yes. The Mini 2000 typically uses a smaller or narrower bearing (often 2.38mm width) due to the compact head size. Please check if your model requires the SR144TLZ (Narrow) or standard width. We stock both types in ceramic for high-speed applications.

We focus on the internal bearings and O-rings which are the most common wear parts. While we don’t manufacture the external caps, replacing the worn bearings is usually sufficient to fix noise, vibration, and bur retention issues in these robust handpieces.
