Swiss Precision Bearings for Bora & Tornado

  • Focus on Vibration & Accu-Chuck:

“Bien-Air turbines are renowned for their Accu-Chuck™ mechanism which minimizes run-out. To maintain this Swiss precision, our replacement bearings are manufactured with Grade 3 Ceramic Balls and hold strict ABEC-7 concentricity. This eliminates bur chatter and vibration, ensuring the smooth cutting experience your clients expect from a Bora or Prestige handpiece.”

  • Focus on Heat & Electric Handpieces:

“For the CA 1:5 Electric Contra Angles, heat generation is the enemy. Our bearings feature heat-resistant Phenolic cages and low-friction grease specifically formulated for high-torque electric motors. This prevents the ‘Cool Touch’ head from overheating during heavy-duty procedures like crown cutting, extending the service life of the gear system.”

Not sure which bearing fits your Bien-Air handpiece?

Don’t guess. Send us a photo of your turbine or the old bearing. Our technicians will identify the correct ISO part number for you within 1 hour.

FAQ for Bien-Air

Do these bearings fit the "L" (Light) version of Bora and Prestige?

Yes. The “L” designation in Bien-Air models (e.g., Bora L, Prestige L) refers to the fiber optic glass rod. The turbine cartridge and the bearings inside are identical to the non-light versions. Our SR144TLK Ceramic Kit fits both standard and fiber optic models perfectly.

Absolutely. The CA 1:5 is a high-speed multiplier attachment that puts immense stress on bearings. We supply reinforced Ceramic Bearings specifically for this application. They are designed to handle the higher torque of electric micromotors compared to air-driven turbines.

Yes. The Tornado is Bien-Air’s most powerful turbine (30 Watts). Such power requires perfectly balanced bearings to prevent noise. Our premium ceramic line is dynamically balanced to handle the Tornado’s high power output without creating excessive noise (>55dBA).

We primarily specialize in the bearings and O-rings. While the button chuck is often part of the complete spindle assembly, replacing just the worn bearings is often enough to restore a Bien-Air turbine to working condition if the chuck itself is not damaged.
